... would have to go on the island as it is 19" tall... but am looking for something like this or a two-tiered plate for storing large grapefruits and other fruit....may take up less space than my current crystal bowl.
Upon further review ... this stand is too big for my purposes, will have to look further -- is there a two-tier fruit basket stand?

Bought the three-tiered fruit basket stand and turned it into a two-tiered one below:

Bought the three-tiered fruit basket stand and turned it into a two-tiered one below:
Sits on the counter under the cabinets so as not to take up island space .... third level made it 19" which was just one inch too tall for the space ... now fits perfectly and holds a lot of fruit!
The top tier can be used separately, which is one good thing about putting things together yourself -- you can adapt them to your own purposes.
